On day seven of the Congress, IUCN Members continued to debate and vote on Motions. They also discussed how to better shape our future and our economies post-Covid while keeping nature at the heart of the efforts. In the afternoon, the debate explored ways to build a culture of conservation through new alliances. Meanwhile, in the French Pavilion, a discussion on biodiversity conservation between Florence Parly, the French Minister for the Armed Forces, and Bérangère Abba, the Minister of State for Biodiversity, attracted attention.

The IUCN Congress will close today, after the 9th Sitting of the Members’ Assembly and the presentation of the Marseille Manifesto. For those participants who missed any sessions, they can access and replay the recordings in the next 12 months.
