On day six of the Congress, IUCN Members elected new leadership, debated and voted on motions, and discussed the impacts of the interlinked biodiversity and climate crises on public health.  Participants were also invited to contribute to the Marseille Manifesto which will focus on the post-Covid recovery, the biodiversity crisis and climate emergency. Meanwhile, the Nature Generation Areas allowed visitors to experience the diversity of nature first-hand. 

Today, the Members’ Assembly will continue the debate on motions and conduct a strategic discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on conservation.
