Today marks 100 days to the world’s leading conservation event, the IUCN World Conservation Congress, taking place from 3-11 September in Marseille, France. Offering both in-person and virtual participation, this inclusive event will enable broad engagement from around the world. Early bird rates for in-person participation end 3 June. Whether in-person or remotely, this is a critical moment to be involved in the IUCN Congress. The event will drive global action needed to address biodiversity issues, and offer a unique platform for government, business, and civil society to collaborate for nature conservation. The outcomes from Congress will impact future meetings and decision-making bodies such as the UN Convention on Biological Diversity COP-15 in Kunming, China. |
