Dear ,

As the Members continue to deliberate and vote on motions that will shape the Union’s collective path forward, day six of the Congress marked another milestone in celebrating leadership, inclusivity, and collaboration.

The Union recognised exceptional contributions to conservation, celebrating individuals whose dedication and impact have inspired change across generations and geographies. This same spirit of unity is reflected in IUCN’s expanding membership. More than 100 new Members, including six states, have joined the Union this year, strengthening IUCN’s role as the world’s most inclusive environmental network.

Together, these moments captured the spirit of purpose that defines the Congress, a commitment to drive action through collaboration such as those signed earlier with GIZ and KfW.
