Dear IUCN Members,
Once every four years, the IUCN World Conservation Congress (the “Congress”) takes place and provides a platform for IUCN’s unique and unparalleled environmental network to meet.
Next year’s Congress will be taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 15 October.
Congress is composed of three key components: the Members’ Assembly, the Forum and the Exhibition. More information regarding the Members’ Assembly will soon be shared. Similarly, the Forum’s Call for Proposals will be launched at the end of October.
Finally, we are pleased to inform you that the reservations for Pavilions in the Exhibition opens today!
Whilst showcasing committed organisations and conservation projects, the Exhibition will be the place where policymakers, NGOs and civil society organisations, scientists, IUCN leadership and Commission members as well as partners and business leaders share knowledge and build critical partnerships for conservation. Over 10,000 people are expected to attend onsite and over 100’000 to log on to online sessions.
The Exhibition will be held in three state-of-the art halls of the ADNEC for 5 consecutive days from Thursday 9 October to Monday 13 October. It will be open to registered participants from 12:00 to 21:00 (GST/GMT+4) from 9 to 12 October as well as to the general public from 08:00 to 21:00 (GST/GMT+4) on Monday 13 October.
Pavilion sizes, services and prices
Three fixed sizes of booths/pavilions are on offer: 6m2, 60m2 and 150m2. Upon request and space allowing, IUCN reserves the right to accommodate a handful of larger pavilions.
As a medium or large pavilion holder, you will be able to run your own events as part of the Official Programme (subject to IUCN’s approval). Large pavilions holders will be given an automatic slot onto one of the 3 Central stages of the Exhibition too.
As a guide, the prices for IUCN Members ranges from USD 4,100 for 6m2 to USD 215,000 for 150m2 – which represents a minimum of a 22% discount compared to non-Members.
